On September 1, the Hong Kong travel industry's "Taiwan Good Hot Springs" inspection group flew to the Taiwan region of China on a China Airlines flight, kicking off a five-day inspection and exchange activity on hot spring and distinctive cultural tourism resources in Tainan, Nantou and Taichung.

This activity was jointly organized by the Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Headquarters of the Tourism Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Taiwan, China, and the China Airlines Hong Kong Branch. With "Taiwan Good Hot Springs" as the promotional theme, it focused on emerging hot spring attractions, themed experiences and innovative tourism products in the Taiwan region. The activity aimed to promote the Hong Kong travel industry ' s in-depth understanding of distinctive tourism resources in the Taiwan region through on-site inspection tours and resource inspections, and to jointly explore development opportunities for regional in-depth tourism and themed tourism.

From September 1 to 2, the inspection group went deep into Tainan to conduct inspections of distinctive cultural tourism resources. The itinerary successively visited projects such as Anping Dongxing Foreign Firm, Xinhua Fruit and Vegetable Market and Xianhu Leisure Farm, appreciating Tainan's diverse cultural tourism charm amid the integration of history and culture, distinctive industries and ecological leisure. Afterwards, the group went to Guanziling Hot Spring Area to experience local hot spring resources and local culture on the ground, and further understand the development characteristics and potential of hot spring tourism in the Taiwan region.

On September 3, the group went to Nantou and Taichung, visiting distinctive cultural tourism projects such as Youshan Chafang Tea Culture Hall, and through immersive experiences such as tea culture DIY, gained an in-depth understanding of tea culture and innovative expressions of traditional industries in the Taiwan region. That afternoon, an international travel industry matchmaking meeting was held in Taichung. Representatives of the travel industries of Hong Kong and the Taiwan region exchanged views on topics such as tourism resources, product development and market cooperation. The matchmaking meeting provided a good platform for the two sides to deepen industry cooperation and promote precise matching between tourism resources and market demand.

On September 4, the inspection group continued to go deep into the Taichung area, visiting the Dongshi Pear Village Leisure Agriculture Area and the Baxianshan Forest Recreation Area, and experiencing distinctive agriculture and forest ecological tourism resources on the ground. Afterwards, they went to Guguan Old Street to attend the "Taiwan Good Hot Springs" launch ceremony and the hot spring season dinner, further experiencing the profound historical and cultural heritage and unique tourism charm of Guguan hot springs.

This inspection activity was not only an in-depth inspection of distinctive tourism resources in the Taiwan region, but also built an important platform for exchange and cooperation between the travel industries of Hong Kong and the Taiwan region. Through on-site experiences and face-to-face exchanges, participating representatives further understood diverse tourism resources such as hot springs, ecology, culture and distinctive industries in the Taiwan region, accumulating useful references for future tourism product innovation and destination cooperation.
